 Com & Com Mocmoc - die Legende Click for English text Eine Ausstellung für Kinder und Erwachsene von Com & Com (Johannes M. Hedinger / Marcus Gossolt) Der irrwitzige Kunststreit rund um die Skulptur "Mocmoc" der Künstlergruppe Com & Com spaltete dieses Jahr nicht nur die Ostschweizer Bodenseegemeinde Romanshorn, sondern auch weite Teile der Schweizer Kulturlandschaft. Schliesslich musste gar eine Volksabstimmung über den weiteren Verbleib des Denkmals entscheiden. Im Cabaret Voltaire sind nun erstmalig in der Schweiz Arbeiten (Installation, Zeichnung, Film) zum Projekt ausgestellt. Der begleitende Katalog äussert sich vielschichtig zu Mocmoc und allgemeinen Fragen und Problemstellungen der zeitgenössischen Kunst im öffentlichen Raum. The crazy battle over the sculptur "Mocmoc," by the artist group Com & Com, split not only the community of Romanshorn but also large parts of the Swiss cultural scene. In the end, a public vote decided whether the monument could stay or not. For the first time in Switzerland there will be parts of the Mocmoc complex (installation, drawings and film) shown at the Cabaret Voltaire.
