"Young comrades...
I am here in the name of our Committee
and...and...to you so full of the desire to know
I must teach you about the glories of Ansbach painting
and I will do it. ... As in the early years
I will continue to do my job as guide...

I will say to you: look how well done are those comrades, these comrades!
This I will say to you. ... Nevertheless something else weighs on my heart of a functionary who does his duty as he did during the days early years!
It is a terrible weight young comrades, because
It is the weight of truth, which is,
even if it is not said. ...These paintings,
Oh! Certainly, are full of our genius,
of our fraternal feelings, that make life beautiful and friendly. ... But
- I sweat and blush to tell you this,
like a comic character of Chekhov's ... like
a boy who speaks with his father for the first matters of love".

Based on an altered text by Pier Paolo Pasolini.
