Sutton Lane is pleased to announce the first solo exhibition in London of French artist Hervé Ingrand. "Design Project" is part of a cycle, which was begun in 1994 and in which the artist's studio becomes the subject of his painting and the base of his fiction. Ingrand has been developing an iconography which he reprocesses in each step of his fiction. His exhibitions and projects are testimonies of this evolution, in which the last step is the ideal studio. Hervé Ingrand was born in 1972 and lives and works in Paris. He graduated from the École Nationale des Beaux-Arts in Paris in 1997 Ingrand has recently had a solo exhibition at Raucci/Santamaria, Naples and was part of "Sutton Lane in Paris" at Galerie Ghislaine Hussenot. Other group exhibitions include Le Lieu Unique, Nantes France, the Fondation Cartier, Paris and the Istanbul Triennial of Contemporary Art.
