Sorority, 2007 oil on canvas, 76 x 72 inches Jordan Massengale Inside Out Jordan Massengale juxtaposes images taken from the Internet with perceptual forms drawn in public locations such as the beach and zoo, thus creating thematic narratives that commingle images derived from "virtual" and "real" space. In his graphic works, he reciprocates between volumetric mannerism and flatness to create "horror vacuii" compositions as metaphors for life's multiplicity, celebration and disarray.
