 Kurt Stadler Lichtbilder Click for English text "Lichtbilder" ist Titel und Thematik von Kurt Stadler buchstäblich brandneuer Werkgruppe. Er verwendet verschiedene Medien wie Inkjetprints der Fotos von Flammen, Laserprints von Wasser mit der Spiegelung der durch Wolken gefilterten Sonne, ein in einer einzigen Einstellung gedrehtes Video, welches stürmisches Wasser abbildet, das den Himmel bewegt reflektiert, oder eine bewegbare Skulptur, die in der Dunkelheit diaphan zu leuchten scheint. Durch die Verwendung unterschiedlicher Medien versucht er, einige Phänomene des Lichts aus verschiedenen Blickwinkeln zu umkreisen. Im Rahmen dieser Ausstellung wird Kurt Stadler in Kooperation mit NETural Communication einen Film erarbeiten, der aus in New York entstandenen Fotografien des bewegten Mondes über dem Con Edison Kraftwerks am East River bestehen wird und damit die Reflektionen von indirekten künstlichen mit einer indirekten natürlichen Lichtquelle kombiniert. He uses different media like inkjetprints of moments taken from photographies of flames or laserprints of water reflecting the sun filtered by clouds, a single take video depicting stormy water moving the reflected image of the sky, or a moveable sculpture with a phosphorescent coating that is getting seemingly diaphanous in the dark. By the use of different media he tries to encompass some of the phenomena of light from different points of view. Within the framework of the exhibition Kurt Stadler will realize a movie in cooperation with NETural Communication, that will consist of photographies taken of the moved moon above the Con Edison power station on the banks of the East River in New York, thus combining the reflections of indirect artificial lights with an indirect natural source of light.
