Für das Langfilmprojekt "Peur(s) du noir" war sie der thematische Ausgangspunkt. Sie schleicht durch alle Episoden des kollektiven Kinoprojekts, das im kommenden Winter in den Kinos zu sehen sein wird. Die international bekannten Comiczeichner und Grafiker Blutch, Charles Burns, Marie Caillou, Pierre di Sciullo, Lorenzo Mattotti und Richard McGuire visualisieren darin ihre Angstvisionen. Anhand von Storyboards und andern Arbeitsschritten bis hin zu Filmdokumenten zeigt die speziell für Fantoche konzipierte Ausstellung den faszinierenden Weg vom Einzelbild zum Film und die Verwandtschaft von Comic und Animation. Zu sehen sind erste Filmausschnitte und zudem gibt es die Gelegenheit, Originalbilder der Künstler zu bestaunen und die Angst vor der Dunkelheit selbst körperlich zu erfahren. It was the central theme of the cinema project "Peur(s) du noir". It lurks through all the episodes of the collective feature-film project, which will be on show at cinemas this winter. Internationally acclaimed comic artists and graphic creatives Blutch, Charles Burns, Marie Caillou, Pierre di Sciullo, Lorenzo Mattotti and Richard McGuire have been visualising their fears for this extraordinary animation project. Using storyboards, keyframes and animatics, this exhibition, which has been specially created for Fantoche, shows the fascinating journey from the still to the moving picture and looks at the relationship between comedy and animation. You'll see the original drawings of the artists exhibited, early clips of the film shown and at the same time you'll find the occasion to experience physically the fear of the dark.
