Bilder aus Versatzstücken unterschiedlicher Genres und Assoziationen. Das Stilleben erfährt durch poetische Aufladung eine subjektive Erweiterung. Die Landschaft besteht aus Stellvertretern ihrer klischeehaften Elemente. Beim Interieur wird der Unterschied zwischen Dokumentarischem und Inszeniertem aufgehoben. In Renate Brandts Arbeit durchdringen die Genres sich, so dass Landschaften auch Interieurs oder Stilleben sind - und umgekehrt. Es geht um Bilder. The still life experiences a subjective expansion by its poetical charge. The landscape is composed of representations of its stereotype elements. The interior is presented without making a difference between its documenting or staging. In Renate Brandt's works the genres interfuse, so that landscapes are also interiors or still lifes - and vice versa. It's about images.
