Die Ausstellung erforscht verschiedene visuelle urbane Phänomene. Der Besucher findet Arbeiten aus den Bereichen Street Art, Sticker Art, Graffiti, Grafik, Photographie und Film; und inmitten der Ausstellung als befahrbare Skulptur eine Miniramp. Nebst den Ausstellungsobjekten wird im WORDLESS™ Shop eine grosse Auswahl von Ephemera gezeigt. Als Ergänzung zur Ausstellung öffnet dieses Jahr neu auch die WORDLESS™ Lounge, die mit einem Musikprogramm, zusammengestellt von DJ Reedo in Zusammenarbeit mit rundfunk.fm, zum verweilen einlädt. Die Lounge Bar ist täglich während den Öffnungszeiten in Betrieb und löscht den Durst von Künstlern und Besuchern. Zum Programm gehören auch verschiedene Workshops, eine Filmvorführung, eine Turnschuh-Schokoladen-Performance, eine Party und als Geheimtipp, die Wiederholung des WORDLESS™ Brunch. Die meisten der über zwanzig Künstler werden während der ganzen Ausstellung anwesend sein. Viele der ausgestellten Werke entstehen vor Ort. Einige Künstler nutzen die Gelegenheit und arbeiten in der Ausstellung an Gemeinschaftsprojekten. Und wer nicht gerade am malen ist, zeigt seine Sk8ing Skills auf der inmitten der Ausstellung aufgestellten Miniramp. Die offizielle WORDLESS™ Party findet am Freitag, 9. September, ab 23 Uhr, in der Toni Molkerei an der Förrlibuckstrasse 109 statt. An den Plattenspielern die in Europa unangefochtene Nummer eins im Urban- und Hip-Hop-Bereich: DJ DSL (www.dj-dsl.com). Bevor die Wiener DJ-Legende, D wie DJ, S wie Super, L wie Leiwand, Wiener Umgangssprache für mehr als exzellent, an der WORDLESS™ Party musikalisch die Spreu vom Weizen trennt, gibt er noch am selben Abend ein Gastspiel auf rundfunk.fm. During this three-day event the exhibition gives us an opportunity to explore a wide range of visual urban phenomena. The visitor will find works that range from street art, sticker art, graffiti, graphic design to photography and film animation. And in the midst of it all stands a skateable sculpture, a mini ramp inviting the visitor to show his or her skills. In addition to the show, a large selection of ephemera will be on display in the WORDLESS™ Shop. This year the WORDLESS™ Lounge will open to complement the exhibition. A music program hosted by DJ Reedo in collaboration with rundfunk.fm will entertain the guests. The Lounge Bar will also be open daily to quench everybody's thirst. The event program includes several workshops, a film screening, a "sneaker-chocolate-performance", a party, and for insiders, the revival of the famous WORDLESS™ Brunch. The official WORDLESS™ Party will unravel at the Toni Molkerei club on Förrlibuckstrasse 109, Friday, September 9 after 11pm. On the turntables will be Europe's undefeated and number one in urban hip hop style DJ DSL(www.dj-dsl.com). This Vienna DJ legend, D is for DJ, S is for Super, L is for Leiwand, a viennese slang-term for something beyond excellence, will host a session at rundfunk.fm before he sorts the wheat from the chaff at the WORDLESS™ Party.
